Account Manager/Designer

The Lux is currently looking for Account Managers to join our salesforce in Sonoma and South San Francisco. Account Managers along with the team of event producers, take events from initial contact with the client, into contract negotiation and design, through execution and conclusion. They will be actively engaged in our marketing campaigns and have an in-depth understanding of events and customer acquisition.

Account Design is a fast-paced and incredibly rewarding opportunity to those who can effectively manage time, people and resources while ensuring a successful event experience. The Account Designer has imagination, integrity, personality and attention to detail to fulfill both the clients’ vision and maintain our quality standard. As part of the team of this detail-oriented company, the position is responsible for client acquisition, contract negotiation, and implementing our client’s vision. A successful candidate will have the passion for event design, audio/video and lighting design, fulfilling the clients’ vision, managing crew members, and upholding our quality standards.

Education and Experience

Experience in theatrical arts, design, lighting, audio, video, or related field. Must have event or production experience. Must have experience managing team of people to accomplish tasks within a deadline. Must possess organizational skills and excellence in client relationships.

Duties

  • Professional demeanor with both clients and fellow employees

  • Grow and maintain an active client base

  • Create proposals, time lines, and A/V & Lighting diagrams.

  • Oversee the installation of various sized lighting, audio, and video systems throughout The Greater Bay Area, using state-of-the-art equipment.

  • Work varied shifts, including long days, weekends, and holidays when needed.

  • Willingness to try and achieve new things

Skills and Traits

  • Detailed knowledge of theatrical design, audio/video services or event design.

  • Proven track record of attracting and maintaining an active client base

  • Good time management skills, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Produce a positive work environment by arousing enthusiasm for a shared mission.

  • Shows leadership through example, hard work, and dedication to the task at hand.
