The AV Technician at The Lux utilizes their technical skills to temporarily install state of the art Lighting, Audio, Video, and Décor. We enhance our clients’ events, implement their design, and make their vision a reality. Our AV Technicians install, operate and remove equipment in a neat and timely fashion. The Lux relies on our AV Technicians to make a lasting impact on our clients.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Theatrical design, audio/video technicians, electrical, hospitality or special event experience preferred, but not required.

  • High attention to detail, to ensure all set-ups are according to the client's expectations and that all inventory is in good working order.

  • Professional appearance and attitude. Self-motivated and high willingness to learn.

  • Although most work is daytime, must have the availability to work nights, holidays, split shifts, mornings and late nights.

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations.

  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs for 200’ without assistance.

  • Pay is based on knowledge and experience.
