The A/V Schedule & Logistics Manager position is a fast-paced and incredibly rewarding opportunity to those who can effectively manage time, people and resources to ensure a successful event experience. The A/V Schedule & Logistics Manager has integrity, mental agility, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. As part of the leadership team of this detail-oriented company, The A/V Schedule & Logistics Manager is responsible for, scheduling employees, scheduling our fleet, maintaining and updating our company calendar, reconciling equipment lists, and ordering rentals. A successful candidate will have the passion for detail-oriented work, problem solving, communication, creating efficiencies, and working within strict deadlines.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or 4 years’ experience in theatrical arts, design, lighting, audio, video, or related technical field. Should have experience scheduling employees, creating purchase orders, and dispatch. Must possess organizational skills and excellence in data entry.
The A/V Schedule & Logistics Manager is expected to accurately plan and publish schedules for employees and vehicles. The Logistics Manager also ensures that drivers have all the information necessary to complete pick-ups and deliveries as needed. The Logistics Manager meets with relevant organizational staff to discuss their labor calls, equipment, and trucking needs. The Logistics Manager maintains communication with crew members and manages their availability. The Logistics Manager works under the supervision of The Director of Production and works out of our Sonoma Headquarters.
Meet with staff members and discuss the labor needs and ensure the timing is correct.
Reconcile shortages on equipment orders
Order equipment when needed for each production
Publish a weekly schedule and maintain accuracy as specifics of change
Ensure all drivers have the correct information to arrive at their destination on time.
