For over 25 years, The Lux has built its reputation through collaboration, versatility, professionalism, and creative problem-solving. We work closely with planners, venues, nonprofit organizations, corporate clients, agencies, and production partners to help transform event ideas into fully produced experiences.
We are looking for a relationship-driven professional to help grow and strengthen our network of clients, partners, vendors, venues, and referral sources.
Position Summary:
The Business Relationships Manager owns relationship development at the top of the funnel and across The Lux’s partner network.
This role opens doors with prospective clients, venues, planners, nonprofits, corporate contacts, agencies, and strategic partners, while also strengthening vendor and referral relationships that support future sales, smoother execution, and stronger market presence.
The Business Relationships Manager is responsible for creating qualified opportunities, strengthening relationships, improving market visibility, and making warm handoffs to the appropriate internal team member.

Maintain better communication with rental partners, scenic vendors, AV partners, labor resources, venues, planners, and specialty providers.
Help The Lux become known as a professional, collaborative, easy-to-work-with production partner.

Internal Handoff
Brief the Account Designer or appropriate internal team member before handing off a qualified opportunity.
Make sure the CRM has the relationship history, client context, next steps, and relevant notes.
Stay involved relationally when useful, while making clear who owns the proposal and client communication after handoff.

This person should be proactive, organized, professional, and able to represent The Lux well in the market.
